Gas Solenoid Valve Safety Controller 240VAC

Designed by Accutherm, the Gas Solenoid Valve Safety Controller is designed to ensure safe shut off (isolation) of gas flow where a full pressure proving device is not required. The Safety Controller will stop gas flow during a power outage, or on activation of an emergency stop, and can easily be linked to emergency interlocks.

When connected to a 240V AC gas solenoid valve, the Gas Solenoid Valve Safety Controller will shut off the gas supply with emergency stop or an activation of any external interlock. Gas flow can be interrupted either by manual activation or by connecting remote interlocks (such as an Emergency Stop button “E stop”, fire alarms, gas detection or such like inputs) into the control circuit.

The Safety Controller will also cut the gas flow to downstream pipe work in the event of a power failure. Once power is restored, gas will not automatically start to flow and the system will need to be manually reset. Linking to remote activation devices will ensure the safe isolation of gas flow, making it ideal for appliances not requiring a full pressure proving device, such as in residential and commercial kitchens, schools, TAFE colleges, hospitals, hotels, apartment buildings etc.
